A Day to Celebrate the Courage of Children with Congenital Heart Defects

In 2009 we will be hosting a Heart Family picnic in lieu of LionHeart. We all look forward to LionHeart 2010, please check back in January for more information. If you are interested in being on the LionHeart planning committee, please email chdhelp@yahoo.com.

Portland, Oregon

Bring a picnic and join us for a wonderful afternoon connecting with CHD families and enjoying fun activities. There will be plenty of fun in the sun, face painting, bean bag tosses, and arts and crafts. You will also learn more about the work of the Children's Heart Foundation, both locally and nationally, as well as ways that you can get involved and support our efforts.

RSVP at chdhelp@yahoo.com with your families name and number of people who will be attending. You will receive an evite invitation before the event. There is a parking fee of $4 at Blue Lake, this event is free.

Directions
Blue Lake Regional Park is located between Marine Drive and Sandy Boulevard off Northeast 223rd Avenue. From Interstate 84, take the Fairview exit (14) and go north on 207th Avenue to Sandy Boulevard. Turn right onto Sandy and travel east to 223rd and turn left.
